Security Service Technician
Employee duties
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and configures access control, security alarms, and closed circuit television systems.
- Responds to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoots and repairs as needed.
- Completes necessary documentation as per the Service Delivery Policy.
- Communicates with central dispatch on current work order status and receives updates on outstanding customer issues on a daily basis following the Service Delivery Policy.
- Participates in after-hours service program.
- Assists on installation projects during non-utilized time.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electronics or related field. 1-3 years’ experience.
- Working knowledge of Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Access Control Systems, CCTV, etc.
- General knowledge of electronics, components, and construction.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a short period of time.
- Completes necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for summarizing tasks performed with customer.
- Advancement opportunities include Construction Engineering, Project Management and Integrated Projects.
